Hey! My name is Mia. I started Food 4 Shirts in December of 2020 after spending over a dozen years in the restaurant industry - starting as a busser and working my way up to server.
My favorite job by far though was food runner. Why? You get to be there for the best part of the meal when you first get your food. This love of food lead me to starting this brand.
We make fun foodie apparel and proudly print everything using eco-friendly water-based inks. Additionally a percentage of profit from each order is donated to non-profits.

We chef up all shirts to order like a real kitchen should. This not only guarantees that they are fresh, but helps us achieve our mission of being a sustainable apparel brand. Printing the shirts to order means no shirts go to waste.
The method of apparel printing we do is called direct-to-garment, a process that is also eco-friendly in nature. The water-based ink that is used on all apparel is made by suspending a 100% biodegradable pigment into a water base. It is made of 100% naturally occurring substances.
On the other hand, most apparel brands use a process called screen printing which uses ink containing toxic chemicals such as PVC and phthalates.
